The Snapper Creek Marina is a full service marina, which is located on two acres with thirty-eight slips/moorings and the capacity for thirty-five dry storage spaces. The project consisted of the upland improvements to the marina infrastructure and surface pavements. For the infrastructure changes, the focus was on new private fire mains, fire hose Siamese connections, fire safety cabinets, water mains and electrical services for the entire marina. Throughout the marina, the improvements will provide waterproof lighted pedestals with house electrical receptacles, shore power, and potable water services. Topographical enhancements were designed to help with drainage as well as vehicular, vessel and pedestrian positioning and limits. Other improvements included the surface pavement treatments (asphalt, striping, and pervious concrete for an innovative drainage technique) and site improvements (site lighting, fencing, screening, security, and landscaping).
